*Abalone Salad
INGREDIENTS
1 can abalone sliced thin
1 large onion sliced into onion rings
5 springs coriander
Romain lettuce (use only the young inside leaves)
3 cloves garlic
5-7 hot chili peppers
2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon nampla (fish sauce)
Dash Monosodium Glutamate (MSG.)

METHOD
Cut and clean Romain lettuce and arrange each leaf like a little boat on a serving plate, or small individual serving dishes.
Layer with spring of coriander, onion rings and top with sliced abalone.
In a mortar pound garlic and hot chili peppers until fine.
Add nampla, salt, lemon juice and MSG, and stir until well mixed.
Pour into a bowl.
Place on the center of abalone salad plate.
Serve.
