*Beef Celery Salad
INGREDIENTS
1 cup young celery – chopped (stalk only, no leaves)
1 cup sliced beef (fillet)
1 whole red onion (sliced diagonally)
1 teaspoon ground chili pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon nampla (fish sauce)
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Dash Monosodium glutamate (MSG.)

METHOD
Brown half the onion and set aside.
Brown the beef to medium rare, without oil.
Put the beef in a bowl and add celery, raw onion, lime juice and fish sauce.
Add a pinch of MSG to taste.
Mix thoroughly.
Place on a platter.
Sprinkle top with fried onion and ground chili pepper.
Serve.
